General responsibilities include the proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration and accounts receivable. This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory.

This Sales Consultant in Training- On Premise position supports, services and maintains accounts in the Twin Cities area. In addition, this position will follow Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Travels around assigned territory to service accounts

  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers.

  • Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, have excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude.

  • Perform other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus.

  • Goal and results oriented.

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.

  • Competitive, self-motivated and customer service orientated.

  • Professional written and oral communication skills a must.

  • Have reliable transportation with valid insurance.

  • Good driving record.

  • Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.

The expected pay for this role is $21.63/hr. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, labor markets, education, experience, certifications, etc. Johnson Brothers offers eligible team members and their dependents comprehensive health benefits and programs, which include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts.
