Associated Staffing is hiring Sales Clerks/Cashiers in Hastings, NE! We have full-time openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts for dependable, friendly individuals who enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
The Sales Clerk/Cashier will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise and help maintain a clean, organized store. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people and are looking for a position with great benefits after hire-on, we encourage you to apply!
Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous customer service.
Operate cash registers, process transactions and handle cash accurately.
Accept payments, count money and provide correct change.
Stock shelves, organize merchandise and maintain product displays.
Assist with inventory counts and tracking merchandise.
Load, unload and organize product deliveries.
Change beverage dispensing supplies, including soda bibs.
Clean and maintain restrooms, floors, beverage stations and other store areas.
Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the store.
Keep the store, equipment and service areas clean, safe and organized.
Assist with additional store duties as assigned.
Previous cashier, retail or customer service experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a register.
Friendly, dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to perform cleaning, stocking and general store maintenance duties.
Must be available to work every other weekend.
Excellent attendance and a positive attitude are essential.
