    Position Overview:

    The Sales Auditor is responsible for ensuring accurate sales information on a daily basis through research and analysis of deposits, store paperwork, and computerized data. This position is required to ensure proper reconciliation of daily sales and cash receipts, journal entries, account reconciliation and month end processing.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily audits of store sales transactions, deposits and inventory transactions.
    • Ensure accuracy of sales and deposit data by comparing entries and source documents.
    • Maintain accurate records of completed work.
    • Provide month end reconciliation for journal entries and account reconciliation.
    • Maintain accurate accounting files in an organized and accurate manner.
    • Communicate with stores, supervisors and leaders about reconciliation issues and resolutions.
    • Analyze, research and resolve reconciliation issues.
    • Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a professional environment.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
    • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
    • Duties frequently involve repetitive motions of typing, filling envelopes and filing.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
    • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
