Sales and Training Specialist

DESCRIPTION

About the Role:

We are seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable Sales & Training Specialists to represent our premium in-home food recycling brand in hardware DIY stores. This hands-on role involves driving product awareness, educating retail teams, and boosting sales performance through in-store demonstrations, training and merchandising.

Compensation:

• $25.00/hour plus potential bonuses based on program completion as well as sales-based bonuses per unit sold.

Program Dates:

• 12-week program duration - shifts starting November 7th (ending at the end of January).
• Training will be completed during the week of November 2nd to 6th and will include live virtual sessions and online modules.
• SPECIAL SCHEDULE REQUIREMENT: Availability to work a minimum of 4 hours on Black Friday (this can be completed after 9-5 work hours if needed).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote premium in-home food recycling through live demos and customer engagement.
• Ensure competitive shelf placement of client products and help maintain adequate on-site stock.
• Deliver impactful product training to retail staff, emphasizing competitive advantages and unique features.
• Distribute product information to generate interest and support sales conversion.
• Build strong relationships with retail staff and store managers to foster product advocacy and collaboration.
• Drive sales and increase market share within your assigned territory - with a focus on both on-site sales and passive sales generated through store training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record of influencing purchasing decisions and driving sales.

• Passion for technology and tech solutions for at home environmental protection

• 3+ years of sales and/or retail experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, engaging presence.

• Ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits.

• Experience in in-home environmental initiatives is a plus.

• Full-time access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license required.
