Sales And Service Specialist

The Sales and Service Specialist TNC is a key member of the Hertz team, dedicated to delivering an exceptional rental experience for rideshare drivers participating in the Uber and Lyft vehicle rental programs. This role combines customer service, sales, and operational support to ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and efficient service.

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Location: 360 River Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with reservations, rentals, vehicle exchanges, and return processes.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding rental requirements, billing, extensions, roadside assistance, and program policies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Promote and explain Hertz rideshare rental programs to current and prospective customers.
• Identify sales opportunities and help maximize revenue by overcoming customer objections and recommending solutions.
• Prepare vehicles for rental by conducting inspections, cleaning interiors and exteriors, fueling vehicles, and ensuring vehicles are rental-ready.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as needed.
• Support branch operations and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform vehicle-related tasks.
