Sales and Distribution Manager - Miami, FL

Location: Miami, FL

As a Senior Sales and Distribution Manager you will manage distributors in a set area and works to develop plans to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for all AC F&S brands (Deep River Snacks/Wise Snacks). They are also responsible for select accounts within their market area to develop and grow profitable sales for the company.

You will be responsible to achieve volume objectives with all distributors and identify any new distribution opportunities in the market. You will also work with account team in alignment with distributors to deliver 100% execution of all account coop and programs.

Areas of Responsibilities:

Profitability

• Pulling sales data to ensure we are promoting the correct items with the proper price point
• Assisting with displays, programs, and create incentives to drive volume

Increase Sales

• Develop joint plans with distributor partners for market area to deliver the sales and profit objectives.
• Work with distributors to increase displays for promoted and non-promoted items and encourage warehouses to maintain proper inventory to supply sales force.
• Working with accounts via HQ to pre-sell displays at store level.

Grow Business

• Seek out new accounts and new distributors.
• Make sure all new account/distributors fill out the proper paperwork and submit to our offices to ensure they can get credit, and purchase product.
• Sufficiently train new distributors on the processes of ordering and receiving product as well as how- to properly handle issues if any.

Manage Accounts/ Customer Development

• Collaborate with accounts to ensure AC F&S is part of their daily business plans.
• Sharing the sales data after key events with the account to validate we are a part of their growth.
• Maintain day-to-day files with account such as authorization lists, promotions, sales reviews, and entering promotions in the accounts system. Same information is also processed in the AC F&S system
• Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives.
• Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them.

Distributors

• Collaborating with warehouse managers regarding upcoming promotional events and maintaining product to allow reps to sustain POG integrity.
• Working with distributor managers to ensure they have the upcoming promotional information and are communicating this to the reps.
• Discussing service issues with distributor management to resolve current issue and create a plan to prevent future issues.
• Reviews and planning meetings on a monthly basis.
• Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives.
• Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them

Travel: This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory. Candidates must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time to support customers, independent operators, sales teams, and company initiatives

Education and Experience:

Required:

• General education and/or some college
• 3-5 years of advanced field sales experience
• 2-5 years of technology skills, including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• 2-5 years of outside/inside sales experience
• Fluent Spanish language skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
• Self-motivated and detail oriented; a problem solver

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Economics or related area.
