American Rent A Car is expanding, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Sales and Customer Satisfaction Team! Our priority is to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a quick and efficient rental experience for every guest. This is where you come in!


**Please note that previous commissionable sales experience is required for this position.**


As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:


* Generating business by closing multiple walk-up rentals daily


* Rental car operations - inspecting returns, cleaning returns, moving and parking vehicles


* Executing 5-star level customer service while maintaining a near perfect review score


* Making outbound calls to confirm customer reservations.


* Accurately entering customer information into the reservation system (e.g., address, driver's license details, insurance information).


* Verifying rental qualifications, such as inbound/outbound flight itineraries and insurance coverage.


* Presenting optional up-sell packages to enhance the customer's rental.


* Preparing rental agreements and assigning vehicles to customers.


* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including tasks like taking out the garbage and regularly wiping down surfaces in the front counter and back office.


We're looking for candidates who possess:


* A consistently positive and enthusiastic attitude.


* Genuine care for customer satisfaction.


* A proactive and solution-oriented approach.


* Prior customer service experience (preferred).


* A strong desire to learn and achieve success.


* The ability to think creatively and solve problems with a customer-focused mindset.


* Experience in rental car, storage, or truck rental (a plus).


We are particularly interested in identifying strong performers who have the potential to grow with us into management roles. Please note that all management positions are filled through internal promotion, starting with the Rental Sales Agent role.
