Overview:

The Sales Administrator plays a key role in supporting business growth by partnering closely with Producers to identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities. This position combines sales support, prospect research, pipeline management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to help drive revenue growthandimprovesaleseffectiveness.TheSalesAdministratorservesasastrategicpartnertothesalesteambymaintainingprospectdatabases,trackingsalesactivity,coordinatingfollow-upefforts,andprovidinginsightsthathelpProducersfocusonhigh-impactopportunities.

Thisroleofferstheopportunitytocontributethroughoutthesaleslifecycle,fromidentifyingprospectiveclientstosupportingproposaldevelopment,managingsalesprocesses,andhelpingdrivesuccessfulclientacquisitionoutcomes.

How you'll make an impact:

 

In this role, you'll support sales and business development initiatives from prospect identificationthroughopportunityconversion.WorkingcloselywithProducersandinternalbusinesspartners,you'llresearchpotentialclients,maintainpipelineactivity,andhelpensureopportunitiesmoveefficientlythroughthesalesprocess.

You'll leverage data, reporting, and market insights to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, andsupportstrategicdecision-making.Actingasakeyresourceforthesalesteam,you'llhelpcoordinateoutreachactivities,manageprospectinformation,andprovideadministrativeandoperationalsupportthatimprovessalesproductivityandeffectiveness.

You'llalsocollaborateacrossdepartments,includingSales,Operations,Marketing,andClientServices,toensureaseamlessexperienceforprospectiveclientsandsupportorganizationalgrowthobjectives.

  • Researchingandidentifyingprospectiveclientsandnewbusinessopportunities.
  • Maintainingandupdatingprospectdatabases,CRMsystems,andsalespipelines.
  • Coordinatingandtrackingsalesactivities,follow-upefforts,andclientengagementinitiatives.
  • SupportingProducerswithpre-salesactivities,marketresearch,andproposalpreparation.
  • Developingreports,dashboards,andsalesmetricstoprovidevisibilityintopipelineactivityandperformance.
  • Monitoringbusinessdevelopmentactivityandidentifyingopportunitiestoimprovesalesprocessesandoutcomes.
  • Preparingpresentationmaterialsandsalessupportdocumentsforinternalandexternalstakeholders.
  • Collaboratingwithcross-functionalteamstosupportbusinessgrowthinitiativesandsalesstrategies.
  • Ensuringaccuratedocumentationandcommunicationofsalesactivity,opportunities,andprojectprogress.
  • Assistingwiththedevelopmentoftools,resources,andprocessesthatenhancesaleseffectivenessandoperationalefficiency.
About you:
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales support, business development, account management support, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage prospect data, track activities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree
