    Position Summary 

    The Sales Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team to help ensure a smooth, accurate, and responsive customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Administrator assists with customer communication, sales documentation, data entry, reporting, task tracking, travel arrangements and general sales support activities.

     

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, including preparing documents, updating records, organizing files, and assisting with follow-up activities.
    • Enter and maintain accurate customer, opportunity, order, and sales activity information in company systems or CRM tools.
    • Communicate with customers by phone or email to answer basic questions, gather missing information, provide order status updates, or direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
    • Prepare, update, and distribute routine sales reports, spreadsheets, meeting notes, and other administrative materials.
    • Help maintain organized electronic and physical records, including customer files, contracts, pricing documents, and correspondence.
    • Support scheduling, meeting preparation, travel coordination, expense documentation, and other administrative needs for the sales team.
    • Assist with special projects, process improvements, sales campaigns, events, or customer-facing activities as assigned.
    • Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards while protecting confidential customer and business information.

     

    Required Qualifications 

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, communications, administration, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience with general administrative support functions.
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Ability to learn company systems, CRM tools, order entry platforms, and reporting processes.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry, documentation, and follow-up.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
    • Ability to organize tasks, manage time, prioritize work, and ask questions when clarification is needed.
    • Dependable, positive, and willing to learn new processes and responsibilities.

    • Comfort working with spreadsheets, databases, and digital records.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with sales representatives, customers, and internal support teams.

    Sales Administrator Working Conditions:  

    Includes working primarily in an office setting, with occasional assignments outside the office. This position may require a flexible schedule if there are training events or customers in the building on an occasional basis. The role is a full-time onsite position.  

    Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, bending, stooping, lifting & carrying.  Ability to sit for extended periods of time working on a PC.  Ability to reach frequently with both hands and arms and operate standard office equipment.  Ability to lift boxes of moderate weight (+/- 20 to 25 pounds) and carry them short distances. 

     

    This role resides on-site in Centennial Colorado.  

     

    Sales Administrator Compensation:   

    $24-$27/hr. This position is eligible to participate in the profit-sharing program and standard employee benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, and supplemental insurances.
