The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth within the Industrial & Commercial Transportation market segment by developing and executing strategic account plans, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role serves as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers and works closely with manufacturing, technical, quality, and product development teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements and support Arconic''s growth objectives.
The successful candidate will leverage market intelligence, forecasting tools, and strong customer engagement to maximize volume, revenue, and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of five years of account management, sales, business development, or commercial experience in a manufacturing, industrial, transportation, or related market.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position may require access to export-controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Seven+ years of account management, sales, business development, or commercial experience in a manufacturing, industrial, transportation, or related market.
Experience selling value-added aluminum products, sheet, plate, or specialty materials.
Existing relationships within Industrial and Commercial Transportation OEMs, fabricators, distributors, or fleet manufacturers in the Eastern Region.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, forecasting systems (Quinitiq or similar), and advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer business objectives, decision-making processes, and growth initiatives to position Arconic as a preferred supplier.
Create and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual volume and revenue forecasts utilizing Salesforce, Quinitiq, and other forecasting tools.
Collaborate with New Product Development, Technical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service teams to support product launches and customer qualification activities.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer performance to identify opportunities and risks impacting the business.
Recommend and implement commercial strategies that improve profitability, increase customer penetration, and support acceptance of new products and materials.
Communicate customer requirements and market insights internally to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and successful execution of customer programs.
Support key customer accounts and contribute to the achievement of regional and business unit growth objectives.
