SailPoint Operations Engineer I (Remote)

Qualifications: Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 6 years' experience in Systems engineering, networking, or information security. Should have in depth knowledge of OOTB components like Connectors, SoD Policies, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Workflows, Certifications, Birthright provisioning, Provisioning/Deprovisioning etc.

Overview:

The SailPoint operations engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and operational stability of the IGA platform. This role will monitor and troubleshoot SailPoint operations, support identity lifecycle and access governance processes, and partner with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and maintain platform performance.

 

This role can be hired remotely in NC, AZ, VA and TX. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for SailPoint, including incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Monitor provisioning, deprovisioning, account aggregation, identity refresh, certifications, and scheduled jobs.
• Investigate and resolve provisioning failures, workflow issues, connector errors, and data synchronization problems.
• Manage SSL/TLS Certificate for SailPoint application servers, connectors, APIs, databases, and other integrated systems.
• Support SailPoint application and connector operations, including JDBC, RACF, file-based, and other integrations.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and audit evidence.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required

Qualifications:

Preferred Area of Experience:

• 3+ Years of experience in SailPoint support
• Experience in working with agile methodology and experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Should have experience with on-boarding different connector types etc., Active Directory, JDBC, Web Services, SCIM 2.0, Delimited, AWS, Azure etc.
• Knowledge of Java/BeanShell, SQL, REST APIs, XML, and enterprise technologies.
• Implementation experience of ServiceNow and CyberArk integration with SailPoint IIQ.
• Experience in Multi-domain Active Directory Forest/multi-forest configuration to enable cross-domain and cross-forest group memberships in IIQ.
• Enabling communications over Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol and certificate installation is a plus.
• Should have in depth knowledge of OOTB components like Connectors, SoD Policies, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Workflows, Certifications, Birthright provisioning, Provisioning/Deprovisioning etc.
• Experience with UI technologies like JS, Angular, Angular JS etc., is an advantage.
• Experience with other IAM Tools like CyberArk, PING, OKTA, RSA SecureID etc., is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to handle strong-minded customers effectively and professionally.
