Student Worker - Sagan Front Desk Assistant

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Sagan ARC Front Desk Assistant will primarily focus on providing assistance with administrative tasks and supporting the daily operations of the Sagan ARC.
This role involves coordinating office operations, assisting with front desk responsibilities, and providing general administrative support in an inclusive and equitable manner.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Monitor the front desk, direct students to their appointments, assist in scheduling appointments
Answer basic questions about the Sagan ARC's programs and recommend students to the appropriate department
Assist Administrative functions required by various programs within the Sagan ARC at the direction of the
Academic Support Coordinator. This may include:
Copying, Filing, and Maintaining Sensitive Student Files
Delivery or pick up of packages across campus
Maintain office supply inventories
Assist in updating and organizing ARC resource materials
Assist with Administrative functions of the Testing Center at the direction of the Director of Accessibility Services and Testing Center Coordinator. This may include:
Prepare testing envelopes with appropriate materials, including blank cover sheets
Deliver completed exams to designated instructors or appropriate faculty members
Maintain the security and confidentiality of completed exams during the delivery process
Assist the Testing Center Coordinator with various tasks as needed, such as organizing exam materials, maintaining inventory, and updating records
Provide customer service support by answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner
Assist with the planning and implementation of Sagan ARC events geared towards students
Assist with the beginning of the semester office set up
Assist with end of semester closing of the office
Assist with assembling thank you gifts for student workers.
