Safety Technician $1140+ WEEKLY

Visits job sites to conduct safety inspections on personnel practices, equipment, and job sites. (some travel required)
Respond, investigate, and document incidents at job sites
Research and understand applicability of safety requirements to assure all staff are in compliance with safety regulations of the applicable industry
Maintain knowledge of all existing and future compliance laws and regulations
Assist in Check-ins and safety meetings
Distribute required PPE to staff when needed throughout the day
Respond immediately to reports of unsafe conditions and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation
Complete injury paperwork & transport workers to clinic for injuries and drug screen
Required Experience:
Must have 1-2 years safety field experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing and/or maritime environments
Proficient organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Shifts:
5:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday - Friday (Depends on scheduled jobs)
