Job description:

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years experience

Note: Employee will be working in a production environment and will need basic orientation, confined space training, fall protection training, and respiratory fit testing/training.

Description:

Implements and monitors industrial safety programs to ensure personnel and facility safety.

Participates in monitoring and controlling the organization's

safety standards in accordance with OSHA and State codes and regulations.

Evaluates new equipment and materials for safety.

Monitors employee exposure to chemicals and other toxic substances.

Performs surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, regulations and standards related to employee safety.

Tests and services safety equipment and systems.

Reports non-compliance or hazardous conditions found and suggests remedial action to be taken.

May maintain storage areas, consumable supply inventories, and personnel protection equipment.

Responds to emergency situations involving hazardous materials, radiation, or fire and smoke incidents in the facility.

Manages animal control program responsibilities to ensure safety of workforce and compliance to applicable laws.

• Previous experience working as a farmhand.
• Previous experience in animal control management.
• Previous experience with shipbuilding, construction or industrial industry.
• Ability to execute four main critical pillars to success; Show Up, Read, Write, and Answer Questions.
• Capable of learning, retaining, and executing rudimentary tasks.
• Willing to follow chain of command
