Serve as the primary contact for all health and safety matters on-site, working closely with leadership to implement policies and procedures
Monitor compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and corporate safety standards
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
Lead incident investigations and develop preventative measures based on root cause analysis
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to reinforce PPE use and safe work practices
Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and ongoing development
Manage workers’ compensation claims and support return-to-work programs
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for internal and regulatory use
Work with environmental personnel to conduct required testing and support inspections
Participate in emergency preparedness planning and lead safety committee initiatives
