About You

You are a safety professional who thrives on building systems that protect people - not just checking compliance boxes. You bring deep knowledge of OSHA and FMCSA regulations and know how to translate that expertise into training that actually sticks, procedures that get followed, and investigations that lead to real change. Youre organized and detail-oriented enough to keep certification records and documentation airtight, while remaining a credible, collaborative presence in the field alongside crews doing hands-on work. If youre energized by being the person who makes a large, complex department safer - and youre not afraid of getting out from behind the desk to make that happen - this role is for you.

At Team Gilbert, we hire innovative, forward-thinking problem-solvers who love what they do! In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements:

  • Associates degree and three years of experience in safety, Public Works, or a related field - or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities
  • Valid Arizona Drivers License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Certified OSHA 30-hour for construction and/or general industry (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)

This position requires a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

This position has been designated as a Medium work position that spends a majority of their workday in a mixed office and field environment. Click here to learn more about the different physical exertion levels as defined by the Social Security Administration.

The physical demands and working conditions information above is meant to provide a general idea of the conditions for this role. Gilbert is committed to being an inclusive employer of candidates with a wide range of abilities, and looks for opportunities to accommodate different abilities within reason.
