Safety/QA Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated Safety/QA Coordinator in Canton, Ohio, to join a manufacturing team committed to quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone experienced with ISO 9001:2015 standards who is eager to support a dynamic production environment.

Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm plus overtime as needed
Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and EH&S programs in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations
Direct quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, documentation, records management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
Conduct internal audits and track corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and prevent non-conforming issues
Maintain and track quality records such as calibration logs, customer complaints, and SDS records
Maintain safety cabinet inventories
Review and submit reports including customer test reports, TDLR, and 1CB reports
Monitor and support EH&S compliance through facility walks, inspections, PPE monitoring, evacuation drills, etc.
Prepare and maintain monthly EH&S reports, meeting documentation, and training schedules
Review and improve quality and EH&S processes and procedures
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support team goals
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
3-5 years of Quality and/or EH&S experience in manufacturing
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Lean/Six Sigma concepts preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with internal audits and corrective action tracking
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EH&S compliance practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
3-5 years of relevant manufacturing quality or safety experience
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and Lean/Six Sigma standards
Other Requirements:
Ability to work on-site in Canton, Ohio
Reliable transportation and ability to pass any necessary background checks
