Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Safety Program Manager to lead our safety initiatives. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing our Safety Program, ensuring compliance with OHSA, ANSI A300, ANSI Z133, and client-specific safety requirements. Your role will involve creating a culture of safety, spearheading safety training programs, and ensuring compliance across all our field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct comprehensive training on health, safety, and accident prevention.
  • Lead safety committee meetings, manage safety protocols, and draft new safety plans as needed.
  • Conduct safety surveys and inspections, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure legal compliance in health and safety plans within the workplace.
  • Oversee the budget for training, certification, and safety equipment.
  • Serve as the principal resource for safety initiatives and emergency planning.

Your Qualifications:

      BA/BS Degree minimum or Equivalent combination of education

      Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and other Office suite

      Minimum 2 years experience as a Safety Program Manager, Safety Coordinator, Safety Auditor or similar.

      CTSP or CSP or equivalent

      ISA Certified, Utility ISA preferred

      First Aid Instructor Certified preferred

      Experience using ArcGIS applications preferred

      Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have business and technical writing skills.

      Ability to implement new processes.

      Strong Interpersonal skills.

      Detail Oriented.

      Leaderships / supervisory skills.

      HS diploma or equivalent required.

* Possess a CA Driver's license



Physical Requirements:


    Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.

    Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
