Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Site Manager to join their client's team in Pocatello, Idaho. This position requires an individual with a strong background in safety management, particularly within construction or industrial settings. The Safety Site Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Safety Director with oversight and implementation of company safety processes on the jobsite.
  • Respond, oversee, and facilitate appropriate injury management and incident investigation/communication throughout for the jobsite.
  • Manage safety programs through development, implementation, and management of the Company's safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws.
  • Provide oversight management for service HSE activities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel, and offer technical advice for proper administration of the Company's HSE and Injury/Illness Prevention Programs.
  • Collaborate with other managers to develop and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Work with the customer and site general contractor to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Provide safety training as needed at a site level.
  • Perform frequent safety inspections and audits at the job site.
  • Conduct incident investigations, reports, and help develop corrective actions.
  • Facilitate cultural change to drive Company safety performance.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and track safety training to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Represent the company on environmental protection concerns and interface with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum CHST BCSP Certification.
  • Minimum OSHA 510.
  • Relevant scope and team management experience.
