Safety Patrol Advisor - Internal Candidate 2026-2027

Title: Safety Patrol Advisor

Location: Mansfield Township Elementary School

Qualifications: MTSD Current Staff Member

Reports to: Building Principal

Job Description:

1. Speak to 6th grade students about the safety patrol
2. Disseminate the safety patrol materials
3. Inform parents in writing/contract of the responsibilities of participation
4. Coordinate the 6th grade safety patrol officers
5. Schedule the safety patrol stations
6. Coordinate any changes due to absences
7. Monitor the effectiveness of the safety patrol stations and make modifications as needed
8. Coordinate an end of year activity celebration Terms of Employment: A teacher who is selected annually to monitor all activities of the Safety Patrol which requires planning and supervision that will require periods of time to extend beyond the school day. Rate of Pay: Stipend: $625 per year per MTEA agreement
