                                          Safety & Operations Assistant  Needed 

 

  • $17 /DOE
  • 7:00 AM  - 3:30 PM  Monday - Friday 
  • Weekly Pay

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of clerical, record keeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the plant. Assists plant management with general secretarial duties as requested.
  • Leads safety committee & MERT (first aid) team. Ensures all required documentation is up to date and compliant with OSHA, as well as any other state requirements and company policy.
  • Facilitate accident investigations, prepare incident and accident reports as well as work with management to determine root cause. Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries and accidents.
  • Coordinates facility maintenance with external contractors and vendors.
  • Assists operations management with tracking key metrics, generating reports and displaying dashboard/slides via internal monitors.
  • Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files.
  • Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants. Maintains office supplies.
  • Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
  • Enforces all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years administrative or related experience
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
