    Position Summary: **Fargo, ND

    Develops and implements safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. This position is located in Fargo, ND and is primarily focused on a Data Center project.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develops, recommends and communicates strategy to all audiences in order to meet safety goals and objectives that support safe work practices
    • Plans, devises and coordinates implementation of training programs for managers, supervisors, and employees in safety- related areas according to specific needs
    • Oversees and directs the investigations of accidents and incidents; takes immediate corrective action where appropriate.
    • Reviews all accidents & incidents to ensure all reports are filled correctly and reports to upper management
    • Works closely with project managers and division mangers regarding safe worksites
    • Works with other senior management to structure safety components of employee incentive and awards programs
    • Conducts comprehensive on-site safety assessments
    • Monitors all safety processes
    • Monitors corrective actions
    • Provides projects with information, signs, posters, etc.
    • Periodically inspects safety equipment
    • Conducts all equipment training
    • Keeps company personnel informed of any new or change in local, state, or federal environmental guidelines or laws

    Performs other duties as requested and assigned in a timely fashion


    Essential skills and experience:

    • Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word software.
    • Knowledge of office administration procedures.
    • Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
    • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
    • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
    • Well developed organizational skills
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Ability to travel and stay overnight as required

    Education/Experience:

    Associate's degree (A. A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
