This role is responsible for ensuring all electrical work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and client safety standards.The position will work closely with field supervision, project management, and other safety professionals to identify hazards, conduct inspections, and enforce corrective actions. A strong presence in the field is required to proactively manage electrical safety risks and support a culture of safety across the project.This is a long-term, two-year assignment offering stability and consistent hours on a high-profile data center build.Qualifications OSHA 30 certification First Aid/CPR certification 5+ years of electrical safety experience Experience supporting large construction or industrial projectsAdditional Requirements Ability to work on-site in San Jose, CA Availability for the full project duration Strong communication and documentation skillsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide daily safety oversight for electrical subcontractor activitiesConduct job site safety inspections and hazard assessmentsEnforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety policiesLead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientationsInvestigate incidents and near misses and document findingsCollaborate with project leadership to implement corrective actionsMaintain accurate safety records and reportsSkillsElectrical safety compliance, OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, incident investigation, job site inspections, safety training, documentation, communicationKnowledge BaseThis role requires deep knowledge of electrical construction safety, OSHA compliance, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and hazard mitigation strategies specific to data center environments.
