Ensure safe work activities being performed in all aspects on the job site that you are assigned. Develop and maintain Site Specific Safety Plans and EAP (Emergency Action Plan) for the projects. Work with Management, Supervision, and Craft to improve safe work practices and safe work culture. Help plan and solve safety related problems. Site Safety Manager will be a direct report to Corporate Health & Safety Director. Close communication and interaction will be required daily with site safety professionals, site management/supervision, and Division managers. Position will have the authority to cause an operation to immediately suspend if imminent safety concerns need to be addressed. If any changes in methods or functionality are believed needed to be implemented, consultation with Division Manager will be required before any changes are made.
