Description

  • Lead all company safety programs across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and RRC all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Lead and maintain ISO 45001 Management Systems, including documentation, internal audits, corrective actions, and trainings.
  • Manage and administer the company's Novara Safety Management System.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Conduct facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, environmental incidents, and property damage events using root cause analysis.
  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans to reduce future incidents.
  • Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Maintain OSHA logs, regulatory documentation, training records, and compliance reports through the Novara System.
  • Ensure contractor and vendor compliance with company safety standards.
  • Coordinate emergency drills.
  • Partner with operations leaders to improve safety performance.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay current on changing regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through leadership, accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive safety experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of leadership and management experience leading safety teams.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 Management Systems.
  • Experience using Novara Management software is preferred.
  • Experience conducting accident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience developing safety programs and employee training.
  • Relevant industry experience in environmental services, waste management, construction, or heavy industrial operations is preferred.
  • Experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
