Description

Safety ManagerLead, mentor, and manage the safety team, including hiring and development. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA and NFPA standards. Conduct jobsite audits and ensure compliance across multiple active projects. Oversee SSPs, JHAs, lockout/tagout procedures, and risk mitigation efforts. Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions. Track and report safety metrics (TRIR, near misses, leading indicators). Deliver safety training, orientations, and ongoing education programs. They should have at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. OSHA 30 certification is required; CHST, STS-C, or CSP is preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and NFPA 70E standards is necessary. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential. Ability to travel regularly to project sites across the region is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems is needed.
