Safety Manager - Commercial Construction

A well-established general contractor in the Chicago area is looking for a Safety Manager to support commercial projects across the north and northwest suburbs. If you care about getting every crew home safe and enjoy coaching people in the field, this is a great chance to make a real impact with a team that takes safety seriously.

What You'll Do

• Lead safety programs across multiple active commercial projects
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and job hazard analyses
• Train field teams and trade partners on OSHA standards and company policies
• Investigate incidents, track trends and put corrective actions in place
• Partner with superintendents and project managers to plan work safely
• Keep safety documentation, reporting and orientations organized and current

What You Bring

• 5+ years of construction safety experience with a commercial general contractor or subcontractor
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510, CHST or ASP a plus
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards
• Clear, approachable communication with field crews and leadership
• Comfort traveling between job sites in the Chicago area

What We Offer

• Salary range of $95,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience
