Support the FM team in the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the KSTC Safety Program.

• Be responsible for Environmental Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and Local regulatory requirements. rn
• Monitor environmental compliance issues relating to workplace safety. rn
• Perform investigations and root cause analysis and make recommendations for corrective actions. rn
• Implement corrective/preventative actions and continuous improvement activities. rn
• Develop various reporting systems and provide safety analysis as required. rn
• Perform job hazard assessments by participating in processes and procedures and researching industry best practices and regulatory requirements. rn
• Participate in site audits, inspections and surveys including the developing and drafting of audit documentation, tracking corrective actions, and monitoring trends in results of audit activities. rn
• Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and recordkeeping systems. rn
• Develop technical documents including procedures, programs, and guidance documents. rn
• Inform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations. rn
• Respond to emergency situations during work or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns. rn
• Have familiarity with local, state, and federal codes as they apply to life safety equipment. rn
• Demonstrate knowledge of EHS risks and impacts of work activities and the benefits of improving performance. rn
