Known for long-term client relationships and repeat business, they offer employees exceptional benefits, career stability, and exposure to landmark developments.Job DescriptionThe Safety Engineer/Coordinator will:Support the implementation and enforcement of site-specific safety plans on active construction projects.Conduct routine jobsite inspections, safety walks, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.Assist with preconstruction safety planning, subcontractor onboarding, and risk mitigation reviews.Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily safety briefings for field teams.Maintain safety documentation including audits, training records, incident reports, permits, and corrective action logs.Partner with superintendents, project managers, and field personnel to identify and eliminate potential safety risks.Assist in investigating incidents and near misses while documenting findings and tracking corrective actions.Monitor PPE compliance and adherence to all site safety requirements.Promote and reinforce a positive, engaging, and accountable safety culture across project teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
