Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Preforms safety and health inspections and documents inspections.

2. Timely completion and submission of daily, weekly and monthly report.

3. Develops and delivers safety and health training, toolbox talks and safety briefings.

4. Develops Activity Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments

5. Identify hazards and initiate corrective actions

6. Ensure job-site compliance with Site Specific Safety Plan, OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926, and EM385-1-1

7. Perform accident, incident, and near miss investigations

8. Maintains inventory of personal protective equipment and first aid supplies. Issues PPE to employees

9. Maintains safety communications, postings, etc.

10. Other duties as required.
