Safety Director, Fab Shops (Huffman, TX)

If you want ownership of safety across a full fabrication operation, this is the role. A structural steel fabrication company with three local shops is bringing on a Safety Director immediately, reporting directly to leadership with the authority to set the standard at all three locations.

What you'll do

• Keep all three shops OSHA compliant through regular inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Take charge of the safety program across all 3 fabrication shops and keep raising the bar
• Catch hazards early and own the corrective actions through completion
• Give crews and shop leaders hands-on training in safe fabrication practices
• Measure safety performance and share the results with leadership

What we're looking for

• Ability to oversee safety at multiple local sites
• Safety leadership track record in structural steel fabrication or a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
• Solid grasp of OSHA standards
• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
