Safety Director - Commercial Construction

Atlanta construction is busy and strong safety leaders are hard to find. I have a client, a well-established commercial general contractor that keeps growing, adding a Safety Director to lead safety across their projects.

What you'll do:

• Lead the company-wide safety program, policies and site-specific safety plans
• Run regular jobsite audits and walk sites with supers and subcontractors
• Lead incident investigations, root cause reviews and corrective actions
• Track OSHA logs, EMR, TRIR and other safety metrics
• Train field teams, run orientations and keep toolbox talks going
• Vet subcontractor safety programs and keep jobs OSHA compliant

What you bring:

• 5+ years of construction safety experience, ideally on commercial projects
• OSHA 500 and 510 required
• CHST, CSP or ASP is a big plus
• Comfortable leading in the field and in the office
• Atlanta-area based
