Safety Coordinator| 7:00AM – 3:30PM |$60K - $80K| Monday – Friday

Decatur, IL – Food grade manufacturing

Qualifications for** Safety Coordinator**

• Experience in environmental, health and safety or compliance in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to analyze data and programs to understand opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking to all levels of the organization
• Ability to work as a member of a team and develop relationships
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to climb stairs
• A bachelors degree in a relative field is preferred but experience will also be considered

Responsibilities for** Safety Coordinator**

• Data entry for compliance tracking
• Accident and incident investigation and reporting
• Preparation for audits and inspections
• Implement processes and procedures to continuously improve safety metrics
• Provide presentations and training for relative topics
• Scanning, saving, maintaining records
• Manage safety procedures and documents
