Safety Coordinator, Structural Steel Fabrication (West Houston)

A steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX, in the west Houston area, is looking for a Safety Coordinator to lead safety on its shop floor. Expect incredible benefits, real room for growth, and roughly 10 hours of overtime each week.

What the Role Covers

• Investigating incidents and maintaining OSHA documentation and records
• Inspections, audits and prompt correction of hazards
• Toolbox talks, new-hire orientations and safety trainings
• Day-to-day safety programs on the fabrication floor
• Working with shop leaders to reinforce a culture of safety

What You'll Need

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Comfort working on a shop floor and clear communication skills
• Background in construction, manufacturing or fabrication safety
• Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, with roughly 10 hours of overtime weekly
