Safety Coordinator - Structural Steel Fab Shop

A structural steel fabrication shop serving the Cypress, TX area is looking for a Safety Coordinator to take ownership of safety on the shop floor. You will find growth opportunity here, along with incredible benefits and pay of $25-$30 per hour plus steady overtime of about 10 hours a week.

What you will do

• Lead safety trainings, toolbox talks and new-hire orientations
• Run day-to-day safety programs on the fabrication floor
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation
• Conduct inspections and audits and correct hazards
• Work alongside shop leadership to build a strong safety culture

What you bring

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Safety experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or construction setting
• Ability to work on-site in Cypress, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime per week
• Strong communication skills and comfort on a shop floor
