Safety Coordinator - Steel Fabrication

A growing steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX is hiring a Safety Coordinator to lead safety on its shop floor. This role offers real growth opportunity, incredible benefits, and steady overtime of about 10 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day safety programs on the fabrication floor
• Lead safety trainings, toolbox talks and new-hire orientations
• Conduct inspections and audits and correct hazards
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation
• Partner with shop leadership to build a strong safety culture

Requirements

• Safety experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or construction setting
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong communication skills and comfort on a shop floor
• Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime per week
