Safety Coordinator - Steel Fab Shop, West Houston

A steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX, is bringing on a Safety Coordinator to keep its shop crew safe and its safety programs running smoothly. This west Houston role comes with a growth opportunity, incredible benefits, and roughly 10 hours of overtime every week.

What the Job Involves

• Run the shop's everyday safety programs
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA documentation and records current
• Conduct new-hire safety orientations, safety trainings and toolbox talks
• Strengthen the safety culture together with shop leadership
• Complete inspections and audits and see hazards through to correction

Who We Want

• Someone with safety experience in fabrication, construction or manufacturing
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• A strong communicator who is comfortable on the shop floor
• Able to work on-site in Katy, TX, with roughly 10 hours of overtime weekly
