Safety Coordinator - Steel Fab Shop Floor

Looking for a hands-on safety role where you can grow? A steel fabrication shop in the west Houston area (Katy, TX) is adding a Safety Coordinator to own safety on its fabrication floor. You'll get incredible benefits, a real growth path, and consistent overtime of roughly 10 hours each week.

What You'll Do

• Lead toolbox talks, safety trainings and orientations for new hires
• Manage daily safety programs across the fab shop floor
• Partner with shop leaders to strengthen the safety culture
• Perform inspections and audits, and fix hazards as you find them
• Look into incidents and maintain OSHA records and documentation

What You Bring

• Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Safety experience in fabrication, manufacturing or construction
• Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, including roughly 10 hours of overtime weekly
• Clear communication skills and comfort working on a shop floor
