What Youll Do:
Support Field and Shop Supervisors and Managers, Branch Managers and Regional Safety Manager on implementation of field, shop, and office safety programs. Responsible for conducting field, shop, and office safety training, performing field and shop safety audits, investigating safety issues at job sites, ensuring compliance with IIPP and other safety initiatives, contractor's safety programs and all applicable federal and state regulations applicable to safety.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to drug-free environment
Frequent and extensive travel 50-100% of the time to job sites.
Must be able to work overtime when required
Occasional off prime shift work required to meet with teammates on other shifts
Under manufacturing and job site conditions, must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders to inspect cranes and equipment as required
Walking, sitting, standing, bending and typical office activities including using hands to operate objects, tools, computers, and other electronic equipment
Some heavy lifting may be necessary
Working conditions can be noisy/dusty/hot/cold
