Help Us Keep Safety at the Center of Everything We Do!Viking Pest Control is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Safety Coordinator to help ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment across our pest control branches.In this role, you'll work closely with management and employees to develop and maintain safety programs, provide training, identify and reduce workplace risks, respond to safety incidents, and help ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, workers' compensation, vehicle, and other applicable safety regulations.What You'll Do:Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standardsConduct regular safety audits and inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actionsProvide and assist with defensive driving courses and trainingLead incident investigations and use root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and help prevent recurrenceProvide training on workplace safety regulations, hazard recognition, emergency response, CPR and first aid, and environmental management systemsPrepare and maintain accurate reports related to safety incidents, compliance audits, and risk assessmentsHelp ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materialsSupport employee health initiatives related to occupational and environmental health standardsStay current on safety regulations and environmental and legal compliance requirementsPartner with management to develop policies that promote employee health and a strong workplace safety cultureServe as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding safety compliance mattersAssist with other safety-related responsibilities as neededWhat We're Looking For:Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments with a focus on workplace safety managementKnowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA/environmental compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, workers' compensation law, and occupational health practicesExperience with safety training, incident reporting, and root cause analysisFamiliarity with environmental management systems (EMS) and environmental health standards is highly desirableExperience with regulatory and legal compliance standards in production environments is preferredStrong communication, organization, and documentation skillsA commitment to creating and maintaining a safe, compliant work environmentWhy Viking?Competitive compensationPaid time off including eight paid holidaysComprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company matchCareer growth opportunities in a fast-growing, innovative companyOngoing training and professional development programsA collaborative, inclusive, and supportive work environment where your contributions are valuedReady to Get Started?If you're passionate about workplace safety and want to play an important role in protecting our employees while helping Viking maintain strong safety and compliance standards, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today and grow your career with Viking Pest Control.Viking Pest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
