LHH is partnering with a client in Mocksville searching for an Safety Coordinator to join their team! This role will be 3-6 months with potential to convert to a permanent position. Hours are M-F 8-5 fully onsite and will pay $27-36/hr. Prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment required to be eligible for this role!
Responsibilities:
Work alongside Safety Manager to support safety within manufacturing facility
Conduct safety/OSHA trainings and ensure new hires are briefed on safety requirements
Conduct safety audits
Implement new safety SOP's based on incident history and areas for improvement
Increase employee engagement related to safety
Qualifications:
Must have prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment
Process improvement and employee engagement experience required
Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Experience with OSHA and ISO required
