    HiFyve is hiring a Safety Coordinator in the Manufacturing industry in Marshall, Missouri!


    Salary: $70k-$90k/yr

    Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday, with some overtime as needed

    Location: Marshall, Missouri


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, objectives, and training to ensure compliance with Federal and State safety regulations.
    • Conduct and coordinate employee safety training programs, including onboarding for new hires.
    • Perform plant inspections, lead weekly safety meetings, and promote a strong safety culture.
    • Support personnel in selecting and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Manage incident prevention and investigation processes, including documentation, analysis, and reporting for program improvements.
    • Handle safety documentation, postings, and client or OSHA inspection requirements.
    • File claims with insurance carriers and manage open claims at the plant level.
    • Conduct stormwater testing and reporting, as well as air quality reporting as required.
    • Enforce company safety policies using established disciplinary processes.
    • Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure safety objectives are met.


    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or equivalent combination of training and related experience (construction background a plus).


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of Federal and State safety regulations.
    • Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to foster a culture of safety and collaboration across teams.
    • Proficiency in documentation, incident reporting, and data analysis.
