Responsible and accountable for leading the company's safety & regulatory initiatives to continuously improve DHI's performance. Plans, establishes, implements, and maintains a variety of occupational health and safety programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. Consults, coaches and motivates managers, supervisors and employees in safe work behaviors. Assures DHI complies with applicable federal and state health and safety laws, regulations, and standards. Coordinates with Production, Human Resources, and Management to effectively manage company safety programs to ensure a safe work environment.
