The Safety Coordinator - General Contractor - MTA will oversee and implement safety programs within the construction department to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Description

• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for construction projects in New York, New York
• Conduct safety training and education programs for employees and contractors.
• Perform site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
• Investigate and document workplace accidents and incidents.
• Coordinate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction plans.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with teams to foster a culture of safety awareness.
