Summary Statement
As a Safety Consultant, you will help Delawareâs private employers improve workplace safety by conducting onâsite inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions to reduce risks and strengthen compliance. This role involves researching industry practices, interpreting safety regulations, and communicating clear guidance to employers to meet regulatory requirements.
Depending on assignment, responsibilities may also include delivering safety training, evaluating complex compliance issues or safety programs, and supporting outreach efforts to expand participation in the Delaware Consultation Program. This Safety Consultant position serves as a knowledgeable resource to employers, employees, and agencies, helping organizations address both routine and unique safety challenges while promoting continuous improvement in workplace safety statewide.
