Role and responsibilities:

  • Deal with routine correspondence and enquiries from learners, parents, external agencies, and College staff, referring matters to the appropriate specialist teams in line with college procedures
  • Carry out a broad range of student‑related administrative tasks to support the effective health, wellbeing, and positive progress of students
  • Provide administrative support for all incoming and outgoing students throughout the transition process, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times
  • Maintain accurate information and produce reports using the student record system and other administrative platforms
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings with partners and external agencies as required, including providing support for the annual "Stay Safe, Be Safe" event
  • Maintain a log of disciplinary and Fitness to Study cases, monitor progress, and report figures to staff, providing admin support as required
  • Minute safeguarding meetings as required, ensuring accurate and confidential record‑keeping
