Functioning as an SMB Customer Success Manager, you will serve as the dedicated primary advisor for small-to-mid-sized accounting and bookkeeping firms through their critical first 90–100 days of software adoption.This role bridges accounting domain expertise with hands-on SaaS customer success, ensuring new clients seamlessly integrate the software into their daily financial workflows and realize immediate time-to-value.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Implementation Management: Oversee the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for a portfolio of bookkeeping and accounting practices serving 10–50 clients per month.Consultative Onboarding & Training: Lead comprehensive 1-hour initial onboarding calls via Zoom covering technical setup and platform fundamentals. Run targeted follow-up syncs (15–45 minutes) addressing advanced feature training, workflow optimizations, and team enablement.Customer Success & Retention: Serve as the trusted first point of contact for customer inquiries throughout the 90–100 day implementation phase to secure high long-term retention and renewal rates before transitioning accounts to standard support.Product & Workflow Advocacy: Actively capture client feedback, integration hurdles, and feature requests to guide product roadmap enhancements and streamline internal onboarding playbooks.Candidate ProfileAccounting & Bookkeeping Expertise: 2–3 years of direct experience in bookkeeping or accounting workflows, bringing a solid grasp of general ledgers and financial close processes.SaaS Customer Success Orientation: Prior experience in a customer-facing B2B SaaS onboarding, implementation, or customer success role is strongly preferred.FinTech & Core Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with modern accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) alongside customer success and CRM tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Intercom, Notion, Calendly, Loom, Gong).Customer-Centric Execution: Highly proactive, coachable, and empathetic communicator who excels in an individual contributor role guiding clients through operational change.Career Foundation: At least 2 years of full-time professional career tenure.Compensation & Work EnvironmentTarget Earnings: $70,000 – $90,000 base salary with an on-target earnings (OTE) potential of $80,000 – $100,000.Equity: Meaningful equity grant included.Remote Schedule: 100% remote within the United States, operating 40 hours per week (8 hours per day) aligned to Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (e.g., US Citizens or Permanent Residents).
