    Job Title: STARS Program Instructor - Grapevine

    Locations:   Goodwill North Central Texas --- 880 Mustang Drive, Grapevine, Texas 

    Salary: Based on Experience

    Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

    General Job Duties: Supervise and train consumers in daily living skills using instruction and hands-on demonstration to improve consumers’ skills for independent living. Keep accurate and timely daily records of each consumer’s progress toward their individual goals. Maintain the safety and security of consumers, activity areas and supply inventory. Work together as a team member to ensure that S.T.A.R.S program runs efficiently and to the enhancement of all team members.

    Skills/Qualifications: Must meet MHMRTC credentialing requirements. Good communication skills required. Good interpersonal skills and adaptability to change preferred; supervisory skills and experience working with disabled or disadvantaged individuals. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

    Physical Requirements: Mobility and light lifting required. Must be able to drive Agency vehicle to transport S.T.A.R.S. participants.

    Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements. Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and MVR. Candidate must meet staff qualifications as outlined by MHMRTC.
