About the Opportunity
Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client — a regional health center in Salina, Kansas seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in an acute care setting. This is a full-time opportunity working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, delivering nutrition education to patients, families, and hospital staff across all age groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) — required
- Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics for candidates completing coursework after January 1, 2024 — highly preferred
- Completion of a CDR-accredited dietetics internship with approval to sit for the registration exam — required
- Registration-eligible or registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics — preferred
- Current Dietitian licensure with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services — required
Scope of Work
- Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in the acute care setting
- Deliver nutrition education to patients and families
- Provide nutrition-related education and consultation to hospital staff
- Work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
