RPLS / Project Manager - Midland

Our client is one of the area’s largest land surveying and environmental consulting firms.  <\/span>As they continue to grow, they are looking for a top RPLS / Project Manager<\/b> in their civil division to join their Midland/Odessa Office.

Responsibilities include:<\/b>
<\/p>

• Work with other project managers, survey crews and surveyors to complete surveys and deliver quality services to our clients
  <\/li>
• Manage multiple survey -related projects ranging in size and scope simultaneously
  <\/li>
• Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
  <\/li>
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for easement, rights -of -way, lot -line adjustments and mergers
  <\/li>
• Plan and organize surveying efforts to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining, or other purposes
  <\/li>
• Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • 8+ years of survey experience
    <\/li>
  • RPLS of Texas
    <\/li>
  • Project manager experience in surveying highly preferred
    <\/li>
  • Experience researching record -of -surveys and locating monuments
    <\/li>
  • Experience preparing legal descriptions, filing plats, recording surveys, and preparing easements
    <\/li>
  • Experience collecting survey data to support civil and infrastructure survey projects
    <\/li>
  • Excellent deliverable skills and ability to track performance and project delivery while working well in a team environment
    <\/li>
  • Excellent experience working with survey crews while setting clear expectations
    <\/li>
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Desirable Qualifications:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Carlson software
      <\/li>
    • Construction staking experience
      <\/li>
    • Civil and infrastructure experience
      <\/li>
    • Experience surveying during construction and/or preparing as -built drawings
      <\/li><\/ul>
